These Vegan Nutella Banana Crepes Are So Yummy And Super Easy To Make!
Hey there, fellow foodie! Ready to whip up some scrumptiously tender Vegan Nutella Banana Crepes? They’re not just good; they’re “ask for seconds” good, and guess what? Super simple to make. Let’s get this crepe party started!
Equipment Needed: You’ll need a crepe maker to make mouth-watering crepes. This is the one I use. I also use the crepe maker to create grilled veggies for the best-grilled veggie sandwiches. (recipe coming soon) Directions:
Put the dry ingredients (flour, cornstarch and sugar) in your blender and mix for 15 to 20 seconds under low speed.
Add your wet ingredients to the blender (milk then coconut oil).
Mix everything on high for 30 seconds to a minute. The batter will be very liquidy, so let it sit for about 2 minutes to thicken up.While the batter is thickening, heat up your crepe maker. Most crepe makers have an indicator light that will tell you when it’s ready. Set the temperature to the lowest setting (1 or at max 1.5).
Pour a few drops of batter onto your crepe maker. It should gently sizzle but not brown too quickly or burn. Lightly oil the crepe maker surface using paper towel dipped in oil, or a light spray of Pam.
Scoop two servings of 1/3 cups of batter in the center of the crepe maker. Immediately use the wooden spreader in a circular motion to spread the batter thinly across the surface. The crepe should be thin but not transparent.
Cook the crepe for about 1-2 minutes until the bottom is light brown (the edges will start to lift up slightly).
Use a spatula to flip the crepe over and cook the other side for about 1 minute until browned.
Remove the crepes carefully so that it does not break, and place it on a plate. Keep crepes covered with a towel to stay warm while you continue making the rest.
Spread each crepe with a generous serving of vegan Nutella or hazelnut spread, followed by thinly sliced bananas. Roll your crepes and enjoy!
These crepes are so quick and easy to make and they are an amazing treat for your taste buds! I hope you’ll love them as much as we do.
I’D LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU!
